I spent 10 years searching for something that covered everything. This is what that search produced.
Powerlifting. Bodybuilding. Hyrox. CrossFit. I tried all of it. Each time I thought I'd found the answer, something fell short. They produce results - but they're almost exclusively forward and backward movement. Push, pull, squat, hinge. You get strong in those planes and completely neglect everything else. Over time that imbalance builds. The body compensates. And eventually, that compensation is what starts to hurt.
So I stopped trying to find the right programme and started building my own answer. I took what actually worked from everything I'd tried - compound lifts, loaded carries, unconventional movements, conditioning - and combined it with the patterns most programmes never touch: rotation, lateral strength, unilateral work, full range loading. Training the body in all three dimensions, not just the ones the fitness industry defaults to.
The physique got better. The injuries stopped. And for the first time, the training felt like it meant something beyond the mirror.
That's what I coach now. Not a system I read about -the one I built over 10 years of training, testing, and figuring it out the hard way.
